peaches & cream

LOVE the styling of this kitchen tea by Hello Naomi and Imprintables, held in a beautiful house in Woollhara, NSW.

Makes me wish I had a baby shower or kitchen tea to organise, just divine! All of the tea pots, tea cups, servingware etc was sourced from the vintage kitchen.

magic slippers

Since Harley is walking now, he needs to wear shoes! But I am finding that the converse are too stiff for him while he is still a little wobbly! So yesterday I purchased these soft little slippers with a soft leather sole off Bison Girl at Etsy. Can't wait for them to arrive!

lazy saturday

I am back from coffee & cake at Boucla in Subiaco with Leisha and her gorgeous mom Tayana who is visiting from South Africa. The chocolate ricotta cake was amazing!!

This morning I caught up with Kassy at the farmer's market for a coffee before she left on a plane to Paris to visit her love.

These photos are nothing to do with this, but thought I'd share them anyway.. I took them a couple of days ago, and I just love the soft light.

Tonight we are having a night in and I am making risotto with chorizo, pumpkin and baby spinach, yummo!

i heart balmain

I totally fell in love with Balmain when in Sydney a couple of weeks ago! Spotted this stencilled onto the pavement on Darling Street - sweet! What a fabulous place - full of fab cafes, boutiques & bars! Definately somewhere I'd hang out if I lived in Sydney.

groovy baby!

A pic from a couple of weeks ago when me & my lil man flew solo to Sydney - business class of course! Harley even had his very own seat!

A little postcard from me

I’ve had about 10 lovely days with my family here in Sweden and I’m feeling fantastic! The country, people and food all feel so familiar, there is something very special about coming home. Coming home to my parents and my brothers that I grew up with. Perth and Australia is fantastic in every way, but there is a special twinkling feeling in my body when I’m here in my home country.
I’ve meet a very special addition to the family, my niece Alicia. She is just adorable, she is already such a character and we all catch ourselves looking at her with great love in our eyes. She has got a very happy personality and she smiles as soon as she sees one of us. She is also one of the cuddliest little babies I’ve ever met.
Adam came to Sweden the day before my birthday, it was great to feel complete on my special day. We had a lovely day with lots of laughter and good food. It all ended with mum’s special chocolate cake, yum!
Adam and I spent an hour and a half on two different airplanes this morning and I’m now sitting in our hotel room in Visby, Gotland. Adam decided to test out the bed so I thought this would be a good time for a little post. The hotel was built in the 14th century and the receptionist told us with a smile on her face that our room was the least haunted one.. Oh gosh I think I may have to sleep with the light on…

my mothers day xxx

It's hard to believe that last Sunday was my second Mothers Day! Happy Mums Day to me!!! I am sad to have downloaded my photos and found not one of me with my little man! Thats what happens when you're always the one BEHIND the camera...

My day started with a lovely breakie at The Pantry Door in North Perth, followed by a lunchtime picnic at Kings Park with the family, complete with quiche, homemade sausage rolls & strawberry iced tea!

Harley trying to join in the boys game of rugby.. such a boys boy

When we got home late in the afternoon we decided it was too beautiful a day to be indoors, so we headed down to City Beach for a a bit. The colour of the sky & water were amazing, I was so glad I took my camera.

Harley practised his walking skills in the sand - check him out!

its the simple things..

Had to share these gorgeous photos of Harley from last week. We have set up a little play set in the courtyard for him, and I was blowing bubbles with this giant bubble blower thing I found for $1 in BigW! Harley loves bubbles!

We did it!!

It was time for the annual 8km Mother's Day Classic run this morning. We completed it in 48 minutes. The run raise funds for the national breast cancer foundation's research into the prevention and cure for breast cancer, I call that getting a great work out for a good cause!

Claire - You are a great running buddy!

what the editors wore today

Ahhhh fashion week!! My fave part is seeing what the attendees are wearing, not so much the models! I have been following Life.Styled by Paula Joye (former editor of Madison magazine).

Heres what the editors were wearing today, day 4 of Sydney Fashion Week .

I can't pick a favourite, but here is Paula Joye in Prada skirt, Zara top (ooooooooooh I'll be going there next week hehe woo), Celine belt, Top Shop clutch and YSL shoes.

sleepless nights

{Image: Love Mae at Style Milk }

I woke up to read this post by Chantelle at FatMumSlim. Sleepless Nights is a story that rings very true to me, but it also makes me feel lucky that Harley now sleeps through the night most nights, even if he does wake up early in the morning! Chantelle is an amazing woman!

I also love this image <3
