god save McQueen

A little something I wanted to share with you - not sure if you girls (except kate of course) have seen this! This Alexander McQueen scarf was my gift to the beautiful bride, which I gave to her the day before the wedding. I bought it from Net-A-Porter, and struggled to choose between this colourway or black & white. Glad I went with the red cos kate LOVES it & i think it looks AMAZING with her hair :) I thought long & hard about what to get kate as a special bridesmaid to bride present. I wanted it to be something she would have forever and perhaps hand down to her future daughter, and something that would never go out of style. Even though this scarf isn't something you would wear every day, I think its something that will never date, and hopefully kate gets lots of use out of it in the years to come! d x
